Getting Started
How do I sign up?
Create your free Starter account at hellonoa.com. No card required, immediate access. When you're ready to upgrade, Essential is £15/month and Pro is £35/month. Join at hellonoa.com/founders to claim a founder spot: first month free, then 15% off for life (it's the discount that's locked, not a fixed price, so you always pay 15% less; or 25% off the annual plan), your name on the public Founders wall, a direct line to Sofia and Kevin, and triple roadmap votes.
Will there be a free plan at launch?
Yes. Starter is free with 1 project and 1 client included. Sign up and start using HelloNoa immediately. Time tracking and e-signatures are available on Essential and Pro.
How long does setup take?
About 8 minutes from sign-up to your first PDF. Creating your account takes a couple of minutes, and there's no setup wizard to wade through. HelloNoa detects your region and currency and sets sensible defaults, so you can generate your first contract straight away.
Do I need technical skills?
No. If you can use email, you can use HelloNoa. We guide you through every step with plain language (no legal jargon). Most users create their first contract without help.
Contracts & Legal
Are the templates lawyer-reviewed?
Yes. All contract templates are reviewed by UK business lawyers. We update them quarterly to reflect legal changes. However, HelloNoa is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. For complex situations, consult a solicitor.
What industries do you cover?
We cover six: tech and development, creative and design, writing and content, marketing and social media, coaching and consulting, and photography and video. Each one comes with templates and clause recommendations made for that kind of work.
Can I customise the templates?
Yes. You can adjust clause settings and fill in your details through guided forms. Add optional clauses suited to your industry or remove sections you don't need. The lawyer-reviewed structure stays intact, so the essentials stay covered.
Is this UK compliant?
Yes. All templates follow UK contract law, include GDPR data processing terms, and account for IR35 rules. We use UK terminology, £ currency, and UK legal standards. Not suitable for US contracts.
Pricing & Billing
How much does it cost?
Starter: £0 forever (1 project, 1 client). Essential: £15/month or £150/year (unlimited projects and clients, time tracking, 5 e-signatures/month, integrations). Pro: £35/month or £350/year (unlimited everything, auto payment reminders, recurring invoices, custom branding, prioritised chat support). The first 250 founders get their first month free, then 15% off for life — it's the discount that's locked, not a fixed price, so you always pay 15% less than everyone else (today Essential £12.75/month, Pro £29.75/month; or 25% off the annual plan). All prices in GBP. Stripe processing fees apply on client card payments.
Can I change plans?
Yes, anytime. Upgrades take effect straight away, and downgrades kick in at the end of your billing period. We prorate charges fairly, and there's no penalty for switching either way.
What payment methods do you accept?
Your clients can pay by Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, or Google Pay, all handled by Stripe. UK bank details work for annual plans too. We never see or store your card details, since Stripe handles all of that securely (it's PCI compliant).
Do you offer refunds?
Yes, within 14 days of upgrade, no questions asked. After 14 days, we'll refund if HelloNoa has a technical issue that prevented you from using it. Starter plan has nothing to refund.
What happens when I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your billing period, then drop to the free Starter plan. Your data stays put, nothing is deleted, and you can export it anytime. If you ever choose to fully delete your account, there's a 30-day grace period to change your mind before your personal details are removed.
