Platform & processing fees explained
Two separate fees apply when a client pays by card: our small platform fee and Stripe's own fee.
When a client pays you by card, there are two separate fees. Here is exactly what each one is, so there are no surprises.
Our platform fee
HelloNoa takes a small platform fee on client card payments, and it depends on your plan:
- Starter: 2%
- Essential: 1%
- Pro: 0%
Whatever your plan, this fee is capped at £5 per transaction, so it never balloons on a large invoice.
Stripe's processing fee
Stripe charges its own card processing fee, and this is separate from ours. As a guide it is around 1.5% + 20p for UK cards and 2.5% + 20p for international cards. Stripe sets this, not us.
If card fees matter to you, moving up a plan lowers our share, and Pay-by-Bank can be cheaper than cards where it is available.
