Moving from another tool? Import your clients and projects from a spreadsheet so you start with your work already in place.
Switching tools is a pain when it means retyping everything. You do not have to. If you can get your data into a spreadsheet, you can bring it across.
Export from your old tool
From whatever you are using now, export your clients or projects as a CSV file. Almost every tool and spreadsheet app can do this from its export or download menu.
Upload and check
Open the import tool, choose what you are importing, and upload your CSV. We show you a preview first so you can check everything lines up before anything is saved.
Tidy up after
Once imported, your clients and projects appear just like any you added by hand. Give them a quick once-over, and you are ready to pick up where you left off.
Common questions
What file type do I need?
A CSV file. Most tools and spreadsheets can export one. If you are coming from another app, export your clients or projects to CSV first, then upload that.
