Plans & billing

Your subscription payment didn't go through

If a payment for your own plan fails, don't panic. Here is what happens and how to put it right in a minute.

Cards expire, banks block things, and sometimes a payment for your own HelloNoa plan does not go through. It is a common, easily fixed hiccup, and it does not put your work at risk.

What happens

When a subscription payment fails, we do not cut you off on the spot. The payment is retried automatically over a few days, and we let you know so you can sort it out. Your projects, clients, and documents are never affected by a billing issue.

How to fix it

Open your billing settings and update your card or payment method. Once a valid card is on file, the next retry usually goes through and your plan carries on as normal.

Still stuck?

If you have updated your card and a payment still will not go through, it is often something on the bank's side. Open a chat with us and we will help you get it sorted.

Common questions

Will I lose access straight away?

No. A failed payment does not lock you out immediately. We retry it and give you time to update your card before anything changes on your plan.
