From a project, start the timer when you begin and stop it when you are done, or add an entry by hand if you are logging past work. Each entry sits against the project it belongs to.

Turn time into an invoice

When it is time to bill, your tracked hours can flow into an invoice at your rate, so the total adds up for you. Your client sees a clear breakdown of the work, not a mystery figure.

Set your rate once

Set your hourly rate in your settings and it carries through automatically. Time tracking is part of the Essential plan and up.

Common questions

Can I add time after the fact?

Yes. You do not have to run the timer live. Add entries by hand for work you have already done, with the date, hours, and what you were doing.
