Track your time and bill for it
Run a timer while you work or add hours by hand, then turn that time into an invoice without the maths.
If you bill by the hour, tracking time as you go beats reconstructing it at month end. HelloNoa keeps it simple.
Start the timer or add hours
Open Time Tracking from the sidebar. Type what you are working on, pick the project, and hit Start, then Stop when you are done. The timer keeps running as you move around the app. Logging past work? In the weekly view, use the + on any day to add an entry by hand with its start and end time.
Turn time into an invoice
On a project's invoice, your tracked hours appear in the Invoice Items panel. Tick Unbilled to pull in everything not yet charged (or pick entries one by one), and they bill at your rate. Your client sees a clear breakdown, not a mystery figure.
Set your rate once
Set your Default rate in your settings under Defaults, per hour or per day, and it carries through automatically. Time tracking is part of the Essential plan and up.
Common questions
Can I add time after the fact?
Yes. You do not have to run the timer live. Add entries by hand for work you have already done, with the date, hours, and what you were doing.
