What Noa is, and what it is not

Noa is the guide built into HelloNoa. It watches your studio and tells you the next step. It is not a chatbot and it does not do the work for you.

Noa is the guide built into HelloNoa. Its job is to look at your studio and tell you the next thing worth doing, so you are not left working out what to do from an empty screen.

What Noa actually does

Noa reads what is already in your account: the projects you have started, the proposals waiting on a client, the invoices that have gone past their due date. From that it works out what is worth your attention and puts it on your dashboard and in your notifications. If an invoice is overdue, Noa is what tells you and offers to chase it.

It follows a fixed set of rules. The same account in the same state always produces the same advice, which is deliberate: advice about your money should not change because a model felt different today.

What Noa is not

Noa is not an AI chatbot. It does not write your proposals or answer general questions, and nothing you type into it is sent to a language model. If you ask it something conversational, it will not understand you, and that is expected rather than broken.

The search box in the help centre, Ask Noa, matches your words against these articles by keyword. It is quick and it is private, but it is a search, not a conversation. Plain nouns work best: try invoice, proposal, payout or VAT rather than a full sentence.

When you want a human

If Ask Noa cannot find what you need, the Chat with our team button in the help centre goes to a real person, not a bot. Say what you were trying to do and we will pick it up.

Common questions

Is Noa an AI chatbot?

No. Noa follows a fixed set of rules about your own studio: what you have created, what is waiting, what is overdue. It does not write your proposals or answer free-form questions, and nothing you type is sent to a language model.

Why did Ask Noa not understand my question?

Ask Noa searches these help articles by keyword rather than interpreting the question. If you get nothing back, try the plain noun for the thing you want, like invoice, proposal or payout. If it still misses, the Chat with our team button puts you through to a person.
